Ben is keen to organise some group sessions in the future, depending on the level of interest.
Group counselling provides many benefits, such as:
- A space to focus on a particular area of your life, with the support of people who get it
- The opportunity to hear the experiences of people in similar situations, and learn what’s worked for them
- Sessions are usually more affordable for individual group members
Group counselling sessions typically run like short courses, with 4-6 weekly or fortnightly sessions, and at this stage would be provided via video Telehealth. As with other forms of counselling, whatever is shared in sessions is confidential, to protect the safety of members. Below are some topics that future groups could be centred around. Let us know what you’d be interested in!
- Anger management
- Help I’m addicted to porn!
- Parenting adolescents
- Mindset for athletes
- Making ADHD work
- LGBTQIA+ support
- ‘Enrich’ marriage course for couples
If you’re interested in any of these, let us know using the contact form. We’ll organise future groups based on your feedback.
